The program aims to help students build a fundamental understanding and practical skills in visual arts and design. The curriculum typically covers basics of drawing, color theory, composition principles, three-dimensional modeling, design thinking, and creative expression. It assists students in gradually developing their visual language and personal style through exploring various media and creative methods.
Through foundational training and small project creation, students learn how to observe and represent, conceive and express ideas, and convey emotions and concepts in their work. This art and design course not only lays a solid foundation for future applications to art and design programs but also suits students interested in creative expression and eager to expand their visual thinking.
Target Audience:
Students interested in art and design who have no prior drawing or design experience but wish to start learning from the basics and understand visual arts and design language.

Courses
Observational Drawing and Color Application
This course enhances students’ modeling skills and color perception through still life and scene observation exercises. Students will master composition, warm and cool colors, value, and other applications, strengthening the foundation of visual expression.
3D Design
Learn basic 3D modeling and rendering software operations (such as Blender and SketchUp), mastering digital modeling, materials, lighting, and output techniques to build digital expression skills for animation, product design, spatial design, and other fields.
Animation and Concept Art
This course cultivates students’ creative thinking and visual expression in animation and illustration through training in storyboarding, character design, and scene setting. It helps students master how to transform ideas into concrete concept designs, laying a foundation for animation production.
Figure Drawing and Life Drawing
This course nurtures students’ creative thinking and visual storytelling skills in animation and illustration through comprehensive training in storyboarding, character design, and scene development. It equips students with the ability to transform concepts into concrete designs, providing a solid foundation for animation production.
